MembersOn the one hand, Homeopaths without borders live on the active assistance of their members; on the other hand, they need the support of engaged donors and sponsors. There are two types of membership: - the “active members”: all those who in the past have participated in one or another project or who are currently doing so. Here, an important aspect is the participation at regular general meetings where members are informed about projects and project work groups. - the “sponsoring membership”: for all those who cannot invest a great amount of time but still want to assist Homeopaths without borders regularly. Donations to Homeopaths without borders can be deducted from your income tax.
Homeopaths without borders is a very democratic organization. Important decisions are always discussed and voted on at the meetings which are held every 6 months. Members are organized in 10 regional groups depending on where they live. These regional groups meet independently at shorter intervals, for example in order to organize local actions. The managers of all the regional groups form a board which in turn informs the board of directors about special regional developments. All the project managers and educational managers of the various projects form another board. I practise classical homeopathy in my own clinic in Jever since 1991, as a certified therapist, lecturer and supervisor. As a founding member, I have been with Homeopaths without borders from the beginning, and as project manager for Mostar then Sarajevo. I have been responsible for the coordination of the projects for several years. Since 2006, I devote my attention to the work of the board exclusively.

Almasto Ralf Burmeister, Public relations managerI was born in 1959 and live in Hamburg. On the board I am responsible for the public relations activities. I have been a member of the HOG since 2003, and mainly active in the project Sarajevo and on the board.
